Observer available at final farmers’ market

The autumn season is upon us and the summer is now a memory, as is the 2025 Palmerston 150th Anniversary and Homecoming. That incredible weekend-long celebration included the publication of a special one-time “Redux Edition” of Palmerston’s longest serving community newspaper, the Palmerston Observer.

As we enter the fall season, a limited number of copies of that special souvenir issue are still available. On Saturday, September 27, 2025, you can pick up your copy of the Observer at the final Minto Farmers’ Market of the 2025 season. The farmers’ market takes place beside the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum (former Palmerston railway station) from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

All sales of the paper will be donated to the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum. Don’t miss your chance to pick up a piece of Palmerston history! Copies are also available through this website but shipping fees apply (and order shipments will be delayed due to the Canada Post labour disruption).

Thank you to the Palmerston Homecoming committee and the Minto Cultural Roundtable for supporting this project, and to everyone who purchased a copy of the Palmerston Observer one last time!
